Georg Danzer was an Austrian singer-songwriter whose career spanned 40 years.
When he left school he studied philosophy and psychology in Vienna but was soon
prompted to begin writing and playing music and released his first single,
'Vera', in 1967. It failed to gain much attention so spent the next few years
writing for other artists instead.
He eventually received commercial success with the comedic song 'Jö Schau' when
