After kickstarting his career as a member of the country-pop duo Waterloo Revival, George Birge went solo with 2021's "Beer Beer, Truck Truck," a song inspired by a viral TikTok video. He was born in Nashville, Tennesse, and starting writing original music with childhood friend Cody Cooper while both were still teenagers. The two formed Waterloo Revival in 2013, signed with Big Machine Records shortly thereafter, and released the singles "Hit the Road" and "Bad for You," both of which narrowly missed the Top 50 of the Country Airplay chart.
