Born in Brittany on January 21, 1961, Gildas Arzel trained on his instrument and
travelled extensively, before achieving success in 1987 with the group Canada
and the song "Mourir les sirènes ". His talents as a composer were noticed by
Jean-Jacques Goldman, who asked him to contribute to three of his albums.
Following the break-up of his group, Gildas Arzel embarked on a solo career,
blending FM rock, variety and Celtic influences, with four albums to his credit.
