Gino Soccio is a French-speaking Quebecer of Italian origin, born in September
1955 in Verdun, Canada. A pianist since the age of ten, he became a studio
musician in the mid-1970s. Gino Soccio shot to fame in 1974 when his track "War
Dance", composed for the Kebekletric project, became a hit on American
dancefloors. From then on, this lover of licked funk devoted himself to disco,
becoming a star of the genre in 1979 with the track " Dancer". In 1981, he was
