Girugamesh
The promised land of metal's top and second knives for ages, Japan is also
teeming with bands devoted to the genre. Girugämesh's neo-metal fusion combines
elements of rap and electro with heavy metal speed. Formed in 2003 near Tokyo,
Girugämesh first released 13's Reborn in 2006, before starting to export thanks
to Girugämesh in 2007. Music in 2008 enabled Girugämesh to tour Europe and the
United States on the Crazy Tour. Girugämesh has no time to lose, and follows up
with Now in 2009, and a new opus in 2011.
