American trombonist Glenn Ferris has lived several lives between his beginnings
in Los Angeles (where he was born in 1950) and his European career since moving
to Paris in 1981. A session musician for Frank Zappa, Harry James, Billy Cobham
and George Duke, this student and member of Don Ellis's band took part in the
evolution of jazz fusion before joining Jack Walrath's Celebration Orchestra
