Japanese singer, guitarist, and actor Goro Noguchi was born on February 23,
1956, in the city of Mino. He made his official debut as a singer in 1971 and
scored his first hit a year later with the single "Aoi Ringo," earning the
chance to perform live at the New Year Eve's TV special NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
In 1974, he reached the top of the Japanese charts for the first time with the
single "Amai Seikatsu." Follow-up single "Shitetsu Ensen," did just as well,
