The rock singer Graham Bonnet comes from the seaside town of Skegness on the
east coast of England. He began his musical career performing with Trevor Gordon
in the rock duo The Marbles and had a hit single in 1968 with the track 'Only
One Woman', a Gibb brothers composition which went to number five in the UK pop
charts. Bonnet then took a break from his career as a rock singer and
concentrated on performing vocals on TV jingles, a lucrative source of income at
the time. He came back into the rock business with a self-titled album which
went gold in Australia.
