Regional Mexican music band Grupo Bryndis was formed in Santa Paula, California,
in 1983. Specializing in the cumbia, tecnocumbia, and grupera subgenres, the
group started with José Guadalupe Guevara on vocals, Juan Guevara on drums,
Claudio Montaño on keyboards, Mauro Posadas on guitar, and Gerardo Izaguirre on
bass; however, over the course of their long career, this lineup would undergo
several changes. They played a variety of songs including covers and originals
