At the forefront of the música mexicana (Mexican regional music) explosion that
gripped the US Billboard charts in 2023, Edinburg, Texas-based Grupo Frontera
formed in 2019 and cut their teeth on the local scene before being catapulted to
national fame for their norteño cumbias three years later. Composed of members
