Grupo Revelação, a seminal Brazilian pagode ensemble, emerged from Rio de
Janeiro's Engenho Novo neighborhood in 1991, rooted in the vibrant samba
traditions of the GRES Arranco community. Their early performances in local
samba circles, guided by musician Victor Stecca, laid the foundation for their
authentic sound. With support from João Carlos Silva Filho of FM O Dia radio,
they released their debut album Revelação in 2000 under BMG, featuring a notable
