Lovingly dubbed by the media as “The Nation’s Daughter,” Guan Xiaotong
(September 17, 1997) is a Chinese actress and Mandopop singer. Born into a
family of actors in Beijing, she was encouraged to perform from a very early age
and made her debut in the 2003 film Nuan when she was just four years old. In
the following years, she achieved success as a child actress in the films The
Promise (2005), The Treasure Hunter (2009), Painted Skin: The Resurrection
