Born in São Paulo, Brazil, on July 28, 1953, Guilherme Arantes is a singer,
songwriter, and pianist. He began his musical career in Os Polissonantes before
branching off and forming his own band Moto Perpétuo in 1969. The band spent
their first few years playing locally before they finally released their debut
album, Moto Perpétuo, in 1974. The band split up the same year and Arantes
