The American country singer Hannah Ellis was raised in Campbellsville, Kentucky,
where she was born on August 14, 1990. After graduating from the University of
Kentucky in 2012, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to launch the
songwriting career that would soon find her penning tunes for artists like
Danielle Bradbery, Carly Pearce, and for KING & COUNTRY. Ellis began performing,
too, earning a spot on the eighth season of the televised singing competition
