Hard rock band House of Lords was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1987 by
keyboardist Gregg Giuffria, formerly of ‘70s hard rockers Angel and ‘80s AOR
band Giuffria. The genesis of House of Lords began when the group Giuffria began
to shop demos in hopes of getting a record deal and then recording their third
album. KISS member Gene Simmons agreed to sign the band to his label but
requested that the group change their name to House of Lords and replace their
