J Moss
Gospel musician and composer J. Moss was born in Detroit, Michigan to gospel
singer Bill Moss Sr. and young James spent much of his childhood on tour with
his father and his band, Bill Moses And The Celestials. James and his brother
Bill Jr. would perform together as The Moss Brothers and spent their weekends
learning the ropes of the music industry. Although wishing to further his
academic education, after a short time at university Moss knew that his passion
lay in songwriting and so returned home to begin penning the tunes in his head.
