Jack Jones – born John Jones in Los Angeles, California on January 14, 1938 –
was a Grammy Award-winning crooner best known for his hits ‘Wives and Lovers”
and “Lollipops and Roses” as well as singing the theme song to the popular
American TV series The Love Boat (1977-1985). The son of singer / actor Allan
Jones and actress Irene Hervey, Jack Jones studied drama and singing before he
made his first professional performance when he joined his father’s live show in
