Jamie xx
James Smith – better-known as award-winning electronica, house, and dubstep
artist/producer Jamie xx – was born in London, England on October 28, 1988. He
is best-known for his remixes and production as well as his solo recordings and
releases with The xx. His career began in 2005 when he formed The xx with some
schoolmates from the Elliot School in London. He began using the Jamie xx name
in 2009 when remixing tracks from the first album by the xx. The self-titled
debut album by The xx was released in the summer of 2009 and was an immediate
