Jay Tee, born James Trujillo in Vallejo, California, is a pivotal figure in West Coast rap, renowned for his contributions to Chicano rap as a founding member of N2Deep and Latino Velvet. He gained prominence in 1992 with N2Deep's debut album Back to the Hotel, featuring the hit title track that remains a classic in Bay Area rap.
