JayDaYoungan is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born Javarious Scott
on July 15, 1998, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, JayDaYoungan began releasing his music
online in 2015, quickly gaining a following with his emotionally raw and honest
lyrics which spoke to the struggles and realities of growing up amongst poverty
and violence. In 2017, he released Ruffwayy, a mixtape which showcased his
