Jean-Jacques Debout began his career as a singer with "Les Boutons dorés". He
soon became a successful songwriter for Johnny Hallyday and, above all, Sylvie
Vartan. His meeting with Chantal Goya, who became his wife, turned his career
upside down. Jean-Jacques Debout built a poetic universe for his favorite
performer, nourished by childhood dreams, which ensured his success. In 1992, he
finally realized his great work with the musical Paul et Virginie. In 2013, he
released his first original album in fifteen years, Bourlingueur des Étoiles.
