Jean-Marc Couture
Born on July 1, 1990 in Val-d'Amours (Canada), Jean-Marc Couture is an Acadian
country and rock singer. At the age of 9, he won the La Voix d'Or contest. In
2002, he enrolled in guitar lessons. At the age of 16, his guitar teacher
encouraged him to study music in Quebec City. Parallel to his studies, he sings
in the city's bars. In 2012, he took part in the Quebec edition of Star
Académie, becoming the season's grand prize winner. He launched his debut album
on May 21, 2013, entitled Si Tel Est Ton Désir . The title track hits number one
