Jeanne Moreau
Best known for her acting talents, Jeanne Moreau (Paris, January 23, 1928 - July
31, 2017) is also associated with song, notably for her collaboration with Serge
Rezvani alias Cyrus Bassiak on the two most popular songs in his repertoire: "Le
Tourbillon", which she performed in François Truffaut's film Jules et Jim
(1961), and "J'ai la mémoire qui flanche" (1963), for the first of their two
collaborative albums. She also co-starred with Brigitte Bardot in the songs for
Louis Malle's Viva Maria! (1965) and with Marguerite Duras of the theme from her
