Now better known as a political activist than a musician, the former Dead
Kennedys frontman nevertheless continued to release albums. In 1988, Jello
Biafra formed Lard, which was more a side project than a real band. Jello Biafra
then moved closer to the spoken-word style, in this case sung/voiced, with the
albums Last Scream of the Missing Neighbors (1990), Never Breathe What You Can't
See (2004), and Sieg Howdy! (2005). The corrosive The Audacity of Hype with The
Guantanamo School of Medicine in 2009 shows that he has lost none of his verve.
