Born in Los Angeles, California on November 4, 1976, Jeremy Pelt is an acclaimed
jazz trumpeter who has built a career as both a solo artist and in-demand
session musician and sideman. He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston,
Massachusetts before establishing himself as a member of the Mingus Big Band.
Pelt then began playing with many other acclaimed jazz musicians, making his
recorded debut in 1997 with saxophonist Vincent Herring on the album Change the
