Born on August 13, 1984 in Jonquière (Canada), Jérôme Couture distinguished himself at the age of 18 when he won first prize in the "Performer, 18 and over" category at the 11th edition of the Festival de la chanson de Saint-Ambroise. He began his university studies with a focus on music, specializing in jazz and pop.
