Jessy Matador perpetuates the tradition of summer dancing. Begun by Kaoma's
legendary "Lambada ", the movement has popularized a variety of rhythms from
Latin America and Africa over the years. Jessy Matador is first and foremost an
extraordinary dancer of Congolese origin, who has now turned his hand to song.
His song "Décalé Gwada" features the coupé-décalé style, and reached No. 14 in
the Top charts in summer 2008. His album Afrikan New Style was released in
