Quebec folk duo, formed in 1972 by Bertrand Gosselin and Jim Corcoran, in the
Eastern Townships (Canada), who debuted under the name Bertrand et Corcoran
until 1975. The song "Comme Chartrand ", in 1973, was their first hit, bringing
them to the attention of the general public with their eponymous debut album. In
1975, they released a second opus, Île d'Entrée , followed by a third in 1978,
La Tête En Gigue . The latter album was the most successful of the duo's career,
with the songs "J'ai la tête en gigue " and "Welcome soleil " becoming Quebec
