Jireel Lavia Pereira (March 29, 2000), who goes by just Jireel, is a hip-hop
performer who was born in Angola but grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, where he has
released several singles. “Cataleya” (2016) went to number 36 on Sweden’s
singles chart and “Snap”(2017) and “Força” (2018) reached number 22. His 2017
full-length debut, Jettad, peaked at Number 15 on the Swedish Albums Chart and
his sophomore effort, 18 (2018), hit Number 13. He won two awards at the 2019
