Born on December 20th, 1990, Joanna Levesque is an American singer-songwriter
who goes by the stage name of JoJo, which is what she was called as a child
growing up in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Known now for her expressive vocal
delivery of mostly R&B songs, she entered singing competitions when she was
young and appeared on the television show America's Most Talented Kid in 2003.
She landed a recording contract and her debut single “Leave (Get Out)” made her,
at 13, the youngest performer to top Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 Chart in
