Josh.
Johannes Sumpich (June 22, 1986), aka Josh., is an Austrian musician from
Vienna. Born in the district of Liesing, he studied vocal pedagogy but
eventually dropped out to focus on his music career. He made his debut in 2014
with the single “Wie im Kino,” issued under his real name. In 2016, Josh. teamed
up with singer Kathi Kallauch for the song “Kein Sommer für einen allein,” which
ended up winning Radio Wien’s Sommerhit contest. After dropping the singles
“Wenn du jeden” (2017) and “Sowieso” (2018), Josh. jumped into the spotlight
with the ubiquitous summer hit “Cordula Grün,” ...
