Joyce Sims – born in Rochester, New York on August 6, 1959 – was an R&B singer
and songwriter best known for her 1987 hit “Come Into My Life.” Interested in
music at a young age, Joyce Sims began studying several musical instruments
while in college. She signed with Sleeping Bag Records in 1986 and released her
Kurtis Mantronik-produced debut single, “All and All,” that same year. The
single was a sizable hit, reaching Number 16 in the UK and Number 6 on
