Julia Migenes
American opera and musical theatre singer Julia Migenes (also known as Julia
Migenes-Johnson) made her name in Puccini's Madame Butterfly, Un Violon sur le
Toit and West Side Story in the 1960s. In 1984, she won a Grammy Award for her
role in the film Carmen. In 2009, she released Hollywood Divas, a fine tribute
to film music.
