K-Maro
Born Cyril Kamar on January 31, 1980 in Beirut (Lebanon), K-Maro is a Quebec
rapper. He moved to Montreal (Canada) at the age of 10. He formed his first rap
group, LMDS, at the age of 15. He released his first album, I Am À l'Ancienne,
in 2002. The following year, he founded his first label under the name
K.Pone.Inc, where he produced a number of artists, including Shy'm and Imposs.
2004 saw the release of his second opus, La Good Life, with the song "Femme Like
You " reaching number one on Quebec radio, and winning the NRJ Music Award for
the track. The album sold over a million...
