Karen Elson is an English singer who began her career as a performer after a
successful career as a model. She sang back-up on a Robert Plant remix and
joined the New York cabaret group Citizens Band. Her then husband Jack White
produced her 2010 debut album 'The Ghost Who Walks' but when she became a
mother, she collaborated occasionally with artists such as Ren Harvieu, Michael
Stipe and Neko Case. Following her divorce from White, her second album, 'Double
Roses', went to number 40 on Billboard's Independent Albums Chart in 2017.
