Kastelruther Spatzen
The Kastelruther Spatzen came together in 1975 in their namesake hometown of
Kastelruth to play popular pop music. After a few line-up changes, 1983 is
considered the official founding year. Their first single "Das Mädchen mit den
erloschenen Augen" and their debut album Viel Spass und Freude followed in the
same year. With their first releases, their fame quickly spread beyond their
native South Tyrol in German-speaking countries. in 1990, the group presented
