Blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd was born on June 12, 1977, in Shreveport,
Louisiana where he taught himself music. He signed his first recording contract
with Giant Records whilst still in his mid-teens and went on to have seven top
ten singles and hold the record for the longest running album on the Billboard
Blues Charts with his 1997 release Trouble Is..., one of three platinum albums
he recorded and the follow-up to his debut album Ledbetter Heights (1995). One
