Born to an English father and a Ghanaian mother, vocalist Kimberly Rose Kitson
Mills (23 July 1991) spent her childhood in the London suburbs before relocating
to Paris, where she appeared on the French TV show Nouvelle Star in 2013 and
formed her own band, Kimberose, two years later. As a Nouvelle Star contestant,
she had performed songs that demonstrated the diverse range of her influences,
including Des'ree's "You Gotta Be" and Pink Martini's Victoires de la
