The members—Jacqueline Govaert (vocals), Anne Govaert and Annelies Kuijsters
(guitar) and Joost van Haaren (bass guitar)—of Dutch alt-poppers Krezip formed
in Tilburg in 1997 while they were all still at high school, with Thijs Romeijn
eventually joining as the band's drummer. They released an independent EP called
Run Around in 1999, which got them noticed by a number of record labels
