La Maquinaria Norteña is a Regional Mexican band known for its distinctive
Norteño-sax style, blending hardcore, romantic tunes with the traditional sounds
of northern Mexico. The group's origins can be traced back to Roswell, New
Mexico, in 1994 when former Los Rieleros vocalist Polo Urias recruited sax
player Keith Nieto, percussionist Erick Urias, accordionist/keyboardist Jimmy
Torres, and drummer Aarón Urias to form the band Polo Urias y Su Maquinaria
