L'Entourage
In rap, the notion of a group can sometimes fluctuate, and the term collective
is more appropriate for one-off or variable-geometry encounters. L'Entourage,
made up in part of members of 1995 and S-Crew, perfectly justifies this term,
bringing together ten MCs, a beatmaker and an actor/trublisher. L'Entourage and
its members are best known as the hosts of the Rap Contenders, France's first
league of a cappella rap battles. Despite the difficulty of synchronizing
everyone's agendas, L'Entourage released their debut album Jeunes Entrepreneurs
in 2014.
