Les Enfoirés
(Les Enfoires)
A group of mainly French-speaking artists and public figures, the Enfoirés
troupe was created in 1985 to raise funds for the Restos du Cœur charity founded
by Coluche. Singer Jean-Jacques Goldman first brought the project to life by
composing "La Chanson des Restos," which was performed by numerous
personalities, including Yves Montand, Nathalie Baye, Michel Platini, Coluche,
and Michel Drucker. Starting in 1986, television shows took over and were used
to raise funds, but starting in 1989, a new principle was explored. Several
