Known for their glossy disco pop stylings, L’Impératice is a French six-piece
from Paris. Born as Charles de Boisseguin’s one-man project in 2012,
L’Impératrice independently released an eponymous EP in 2012 and struck a deal
with indie label Microqlima Records for a second EP, Sonate Pacifique, issued in
2014. Boisseguin expanded the group’s lineup and recruited keyboardist Hagni
Gwon, guitarist Achille Trocellier, bassist David Gaugué, drummer Tom Daveau,
