Formed in 2004 in Oakland, California, Lionheart combined elements of hardcore
punk and heavy metal into a uniquely aggressive, rhythmic sound. The band
introduced this musical hybrid with a debut EP, This Means War, in 2006, then
returned the following year with a full-length follow-up, The Will to Survive.
After signing with the heavy metal label Mediaskare Records, Lionheart released
Built on Struggle in early 2011 and Undisputed in 2012. The 2014 EP Welcome to
