A musical union between four friends – Wolle Maier (drums, programming),
Wolfgang Schrödl (vocals, guitar, keyboard, piano), Stefan Schulte-Holthaus
(bass) and Tim Eiermann (vocals, guitar) – alternative rockers Liquido formed in
1996 in Sinsheim, Germany and by 1998 had scored their first major hit. With its
electropop edge and rockier chorus, "Narcotic" – featured on the group's debut
EP of the same name – peaked at Number 3 in Germany and became Liquido's
best-known song. Their debut major-label album Liquido followed in 1999,
spawning the hits "Doubledecker" and "Clicklesley"...
