With singer-songwriter Agustín Ramírez later steering their sonic ship into
Billboard chart waters, Los Caminantes formed in San Bernardino County,
California in the mid-1970s and have been flying the flag for Mexico's regional
grupera music ever since. Originally called Los Caminantes Aztecas, the band
comprised brothers Agustín, Brígido, Horacio and Bernardo Ramírez before Martín
Ramírez replaced Bernando Ramírez on the keyboards in 1982 and Humberto Navarro
