An award-winning opera singer known for his rich, full-bodied baritone, Ludovic
Tézier was born on September 10, 1968 in Marseille, France. He studied at the
Centre National d’Artistes Lyriques in Marseille before moving to Paris, where
he trained with Michel Sénéchal at the Paris Opera's L'École d'art lyrique.
After launching his professional career with the Lucerne Opera at 22 years old,
he joined Opéra National de Lyon, where his roles included the titular character
in Mozart's Don Giovanni, the Count Almaviva in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, and
Marcello in Puccini's La Bohème...
