Luke
Formed in 1998, Luke is one of the few French rock bands to have managed to
break through to the mainstream in the early 2000s. With compositions halfway
between the edgy pop of Placebo and the fevered rock of Noir Désir, the band's
success probably owes as much to its catchy compositions as to the void left by
Bertrand Cantat's band, following his incarceration. With singles like "La
