Spanish singer Luz Casal's career took off in 1991, when director Pedro
Almodovar turned two of her songs ("Un Año De Amor " and "Piensa En Mi") into
European hits for his film Talons Aiguilles. Firmly established on the Spanish
market, Luz Casal retains a strong following among the Iberian diaspora living
in France. Today, she is one of the few Spanish singers with an international
reputation. Un Ramo de Rosas in 2011 is a new compilation by the diva. More
international than ever, Luz Casal released Alma in 2013.
