Magic Malik
Born in Abidjan in 1969, Malik Mezzadri, also known as Magic Malik, has
accompanied the crème de la crème of jazz and song with his flute, playing for
Julien Lourau, Steve Coleman, -M-, Susheela Raman and a host of other artists.
Founder of the Magic Malik Orchestra, with whom he has released a dozen albums,
including the Magic Malik Fanfare XP series (three volumes released between 2017
and 2023), the musician is as much an afro-jazz musician as an avant-garde one.
